Nutrient agar medium for general bacteriology.
Supplied as 15cm³ lots in small screw-cap bottles. Each vial melts within a few minutes after loosening the cap and putting into a boiling water bath and the contents can be poured into a sterile container (such as a petri dish) with normal sterile precautions, but without recourse to autoclaving.
